Sprint PNS – Peripheral Nerve Stimulation
Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS) via the SPRINT system is a minimally invasive, neurostimulation therapy designed to provide significant relief for both acute and chronic pain without the need for permanent implants or hardware. Unlike traditional spinal cord stimulators, the SPRINT system utilizes a fine, coiled wire lead that is placed percutaneously (through the skin) near a target peripheral nerve.
The procedure is typically guided by ultrasound to ensure precision, and once positioned, the lead is connected to an external pulse generator worn on the body. Over a 60-day treatment period, the device sends mild electrical pulses to the nerve to “re-train” the central nervous system and disrupt pain signaling. At the end of the two-month cycle, the lead is simply removed, often resulting in sustained pain reduction that persists long after the device is gone, making it a popular bridge between conservative treatments like physical therapy and more invasive surgical interventions.

Video Presentation
Are you living with chronic pain but aren’t ready to commit to a permanent surgical implant? Welcome to a breakthrough in pain management. In this video, we’re exploring the SPRINT Peripheral Nerve Stimulation system—a unique treatment designed to dial back your pain by retraining your nervous system. We’ll show you how this minimally invasive, drug-free technology works, what to expect during the process, and why a temporary lead can lead to long-term relief. Let’s dive into the future of pain relief.
